PK-12 Outreach & Research Partnerships
UMass Lowell leads and/or is a partner in many initiatives designed to engage pre-college and college students in science, technology, math and engineering (STEM) work. Projects receive funding through the National Science Foundation (NSF), UMass Creative Economy grants, and other federal, state and national organizations. In addition to projects in which the University directly works with pre-college youth, we also provide a wealth of STEM-based learning opportunities to K-12 teachers.
The following is a list of research and outreach STEM education projects currently active at the University:
